At Anime Boston this year I got a chance to see a lot of anime, but I also missed a lot as well because of time conflicts. One thing I wanted to see, but couldn’t was Psycho-Pass. Once I got home, I immediately remedied that situation. Psycho-Pass takes place in a dystopian future where it is possible to instantaneously measure a person’s mental state, and the probability that a person will commit crimes. While the story on the surface sounds similar to Minority Report, I think it goes much further than that.

The Sorcerer and the White Snake
When a movie crosses one’s path with Jet Li in a starring role, it’s difficult to imagine anything but a cool action kung fu movie. Don’t get me wrong. While this movie is packed with demon-fighting action, it is really a love story.
There are a lot of great cosplayers at Anime Boston every year. I was really impressed by several of them. There were some bad ones as well, but I rarely ever got that cringe worthy feeling from them. The photos were taken by Dave Chosid and I. I hope you enjoy them. The best anime convention on the east coast has come and gone for another year. Anime Boston sailed in over the past weekend, and delivered a lot of really good anime series I’m going to have to finish watching. With the exception of a few hiccups, the staff that runs the convention has created another top notch experience for all involved.
