An evening with Jackie Chan

IMGP1614Last night I was in the presence of Film and Martial Arts greatness.  Jackie Chan was at the Lincoln Film Center presenting his new movie Chinese Zodiac.  In my teens and throughout my 20’s Jackie Chan was one of my heroes.  His talents in Martial Arts and Comedy combined together to make one of the greatest entertainers to appear in our life time.  His charm and comedic timing showed up on stage last night to create an awesome evening for all in attendance.

Microsoft just sold me on buying a PS4

Xbox-Next-Gen-2013-Xbox-One-Reveal-041A few weeks ago Microsoft finally announced the successor to the Xbox 360.  The new console, the Xbox One, is slated for release later this year.  I’ve been a diehard Xbox fan since the original Xbox for a few reasons including the size of their controllers over Sony’s Dual Shock controllers.  That all being said, MS might be pushing me towards using Sony’s small controllers with their 24 hour connectivity checks.

Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite anime of all time so warning – this may be a slightly biased movie review.  Having said that, I am also a purist and can dole out serious criticism.  For instance:

Rurouni Kenshin is a good movie with some great qualities.  It respects the manga and anime by staying faithful to the main story, good acting, awesome action, and most of all, brilliant casting… but I’ll get back to that in a minute.
