Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite anime of all time so warning – this may be a slightly biased movie review.  Having said that, I am also a purist and can dole out serious criticism.  For instance:

Utter crap.

Rurouni Kenshin is a good movie with some great qualities.  It respects the manga and anime by staying faithful to the main story, good acting, awesome action, and most of all, brilliant casting… but I’ll get back to that in a minute.

A Personal Message for Me and for YOU!

So, the Nerd-Base site has been up and running for almost a year and a half now. Sure, we don’t update as much as I’d like, but I like to think the things we do put here are excellent and worthwhile! People seem to love our PODCAST and Brian’s My Corner of the World series (making a long-awaited return today!), but I’m proud of what we’ve done. Every time I start to feel like the site and it’s content are losing a bit of steam, I just need a good reminder, and for a few years now, I’ve had this little gem. It’s helped me, it’ll help you too!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

We’ve got a lot of exciting content coming up, NEW videos, podcasts, and original content, plus we’re going to the Geek Creation Event, AnimeNext, and the big one, NYCC 2013!!! Stick around!
