There really are too many movies coming out in the next few months to be excited about, but by all the gods, old and new, the final trailer for Kong: Skull Island has to be one of the most skillfully edited I have ever seen. For such an effects laden movie, the visuals take a back seat here to the sound. The music, effects, the timing…THE TIMING…. It deserves an award. Kong: Skull Island releases on Friday, March 10th in theaters nationwide.
Last night I had the opportunity to attend an early screening of Pacific Rim which releases this Friday, July 12th. I will start by telling you that THIS MOVIE WAS AWESOME.

If you haven’t yet heard of Pacific Rim, now is the best time to acquaint yourself with this fantastic new trailer released today by Warner Bros.
I cannot easily or calmly express how excited I am for this film.
From the production description:
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
Legendary Pictures unveiled their newest poster for the upcoming Kaiju Vs Giant Robots movie Pacific Rim and if you don’t think you need one of these hanging up in a place of honor at your house, well…then…we have different opinions on things.
