Live Action Anime Excitement! Rurouni Kenshin 2: Kyoto Inferno/The Legend Ends

kenshin kyoto inferno bannerA while back David had informed me that a live action version of one of our mutual all-time-favorite anime series, Rurouni Kenshin had been released. We watched it with understandable reservations. Thankfully, so thankfully, our reservations were unnecessary. For the first time a live action version of an anime/manga had been made that kept true to not only the appearance of the characters, but as well the story that made us love the series.

Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite anime of all time so warning – this may be a slightly biased movie review.  Having said that, I am also a purist and can dole out serious criticism.  For instance:
