Comic Book Covers 09/19/2012

My favorites from the week of 09/19/2012

Green Lantern: New Guardians #0

Cover by Guillem March

Well look at that, another DC comics #0 cover on here.  There were actually quite a few to choose from this week that I really liked.  I went with this one because it’s by an artist I very much enjoy, Guillem March.  On top of that I’m a huge fan of Larfleeze the Orange Lantern, and Kyle Raynor isn’t half bad either.

Daredevil #18

Cover by Paulo Rivera

Daredevil has been one of my favorite books since Brian Michael Bendis’ run with Alex Maleev quite some time ago.  There have a been few rough patches, most recently Andy Diggle’s Shadowland story, but since Mark Waid took over a year and a half ago, the book has been fantastic.  There’s a reason this cover says Eisner Award Winner on it.  Great writing, and a great cover this month by Paulo Rivera.

X-Factor #244

Cover by David Yardin

Ever since House of M, Peter David’s X-Factor has consistently been one of the best books Marvel puts out each month.  It’s a damn shame more people don’t read it.  It’s a fairly stand alone X-Men book, not requiring you to read any of the other myriad X-Books to enjoy it.  This cover featuring Theresa Cassidy, Banshee (formerly Siryn), just kicks all sorts of butt.

So, what do you think?
