Even though New York Comic Con was mostly made up of good times, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention some of the bad. These are some of my least favorite moments of the con in no particular order.

My Top Five for NYCC 2013
I’m in full on New York Comic Con recovery mode. Thank God that today is Columbus Day and I don’t have to go to work because my body wouldn’t be able to take it. My pedometer tells me I walked about 38 miles over the previous 4 days, and I can feel it, but damn it was worth it! For those that couldn’t make it to comic con, I’ve put together a list of the best things that happened at NYCC for me this year, in no particular order.
Playable Games at NYCC
Last year a lot of video game companies showed up to NYCC to give us hands on, and preview coverage to their games. Unfortunately many of the large companies that were here last year like Sony and Microsoft aren’t showing up. I was hoping to get my hands on Titan Fall, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. When I arrive at the con, the first thing I will probably do is head straight for the Ubisoft booth to try out Watch Dogs.
NYCC Exclusives
Once again NYCC has a ton of awesome exclusives. These are just some of the exclusives I plan on keeping an eye out for.
X-Box One release date
I was surprised just a moment ago to find an email in my inbox from Microsoft announcing the release date for the Xbox One. I was even more surprised by the date itself. The Xbox One will get released on Friday, November 22nd. There was a lot of speculation leading up to this that the Xbox One would get released the same day as the new Call of Duty: Ghosts which gets released on November 5th.
This also means that the PS4 has a one week advantage over the Xbox One. In the grand scheme of things this probably doesn’t mean much because getting a system on Day One for both systems will be hard if you aren’t pre-ordering. Microsoft is still taking pre-Orders for their Day One Editions of the console on their website.
